There is nothing quite like knowing the gentleness and love that a horse can give. Riding for the disabled gives those children and adults so much pleasure and there is a big reason.  There is a unique bond when riding but also that closeness in a field or stable is like no other. I was lucky enough to own a horse for a while. Did you know a horse can give hugs? The softness of a horses nose against your skin? This painting gives me goosebumps. A warm sunny day and a horse in their best summer coat. Horses are not silent. They have such delightful whickers and sighs. This painting makes me miss owning my own horse but the memories I have will always be there the sights and sounds of being around horses are preious memories.
